Tröegs Brewery was founded
in 1996 by brothers John and Chris Trogner.
Q. What's in the name?
Tröegs
is a family nickname, from the founders surname Trogner. Combined
with a Flemish word “Kroeg”, which means pub, we get Tröegs.
Q. Do you have a restaurant?
No sorry we don’t have
a bar or restaurant. Tröegs
is a production brewery that distributes within a 3 hour driving
radius of the brewery. There are many restaurants in the greater
Harrisburg Area that do sell Tröegs on draft.
Q. Do you give tours of the
brewery?
Yes. Tröegs
has brewery tours and tastings every Sat. at 2pm. Tours start and
end in Tröegs tasting room/ gift shop so as your browsing among
Tröegs wearables you can sample some Tröegs beers.
Q. Can you ship beer?
No, sorry state law doesn't
permit us to directly ship beer to people.
Q. Are there any plans of
expanding your distribution?
Currently no. Tröegs
Distribution is limited to a 3 hour driving radius of the brewery.
Harrisburg is centrally located so we are fortunate to include PA, NJ, DE,
